Bring Your Beer Right to you with a Beer Keg Tap
We usually see beer kegs in parties or picnic especially with our family and friends. Thirsty people need to drink a lot so the keg is really cost effective and could save money. The device that allows you to release the beer into your drinking cup from the keg is a keg tap. Keg taps are really easy to use but care must be given in handling it so that you don’t waste the beer, which can happen if you do not know how to use it correctly. You can splash foam all over you or all over your face. You would see people doing this but it is not as easy as it looks.
In order to get beer from the keg, you need to control the keg tap. This uses a lever and through pulling and pressing it, the beer is released. You can get you beer when the pressure is released and it pushes the beer up to your glass. The keg tap is technically a switch and may be an on-off or a close-open switch.
You can minimize the foam created when pouring by placing the beer keg in a steady position for a short while. When there is too much movement while transporting the keg, the foam builds up. In order to minimize the foal, place the keg where you plan to serve the beer and let it stay for a while. Remove the cap or seal since it will be harder to tap with it. Since pros know how not to put the beer at risk they don’t remove the cap or seal. Since we are not pros we should play it safe.
A portable keg system can be tapped with CO2. Party pump is when pressure is receive by the keg in a single unit pump and tap combination. The beer keg tap is separated from the keg. You attach the pump, and the faucet must be opened so that the pressure in the keg is released. You can release beer by applying air pressure to the keg by pumping and pushing the lever or the tap handle.
A pony keg or portable beer keg should be consumed in one day because the beer loses its flavor once the air is mixed with the beer. In a traditional keg and on and off valve is used. This traditional keg does not need air pressure since it works using gravity. The traditional keg valve simply needs to be opened or closed to get your beer.
